Rachelle Ngalula Mukendi

“I am Rachelle Ngalula Mukendi, I am from Durban, South Africa but currently staying in Cape Town. I was part of ARROWSA Bechet for three years which were so impactful on my life. My journey with ARROWSA has allowed me to grow in my passion for performing arts but also being educated about the beautiful diversity of our country as well as the history of South Africa. I got to see and experience all of this by witnessing it through the UBUNTU culture expressed so boldly through the dances, songs, poetry, visual art and acting but most importantly in all of my ARROWSA friends. In 2020 I joined an amazing organisation, South Roots International where I am using my performing arts as a tool for social transformation, cultural redemption and reconciliation.”
